Leroy Holland Leads Programmatic and Audience Sales at Playwire

Joining the team approximately 14 months ago, Leroy Holland came to Playwire with more than a decade of ad tech sales experience with a focus on creating and cultivating large, enterprise-level partnerships with brands and agencies.

At Playwire, Leroy has continued to do more of the same, selling to high-level brands and agencies while representing our publishers and assuring they know of the exclusive partnerships that we have available. As Leroy stated during his interview, "It's really all about the publisher [at Playwire] and how we integrate with them and help monetize their inventory." 

One of the most prominent ways that Leroy feels Playwire brings publishers and advertisers together is through our Data Management Platform (DMP), and more specifically through our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts. "How do we help advertisers reach publishers of different ethnicities and backgrounds," Leroy continued, "I think this is something that the ecosystem is really clamoring for right now and I think it’s something that’s needed across all of the ad ecosystem." 

But of course, at the forefront of our DEI efforts is our DMP, a piece of the ad tech stack that really sets Playwire apart from the rest. "We don’t just [represent publishers] from an ad space, but we also [represent] their data. We’re bringing their data into our DMP so we’re always talking about the publisher in terms of categorization, we’re preparing for the cookie-less future, and [we're always focused on] how we can help monetize the publisher overall." 

Furthermore, when asked why a publisher should choose to partner with Playwire, Leroy said, "We have a really big sales team that’s always promoting your product and content out to Fortune 1000 advertisers. So you’re definitely going to have the best advertisers running on your site and we’re going to be monetizing your data with some of the best in class brands and advertisers in the ecosystem."
