Petrovic brings over 17 years of digital media and gaming experience to board comprised of veteran industry experts

Playwire Media, the largest online representation firm for reaching gaming and entertainment enthusiasts online, today announced that Chris Petrovic, Senior Vice President, Corporate Development, Business Development & Licensing at Zynga, has been selected to sit on the company’s board of directors. In this roll, Petrovic will support the continued growth of the company alongside fellow board members:

Petrovic is a digital media, games and technology veteran with more than 17 years of management and industry experience. He is currently an SVP at Zynga overseeing Corporate Development, Business Development and Licensing.

Prior to Zynga, Petrovic served as SVP and Head of Corporate Strategy & Development for Kabam. In that role, he led Kabam’s international growth strategy efforts, with a particular focus on Asia, and also was responsible for a number of key licensing deals with Disney, Marvel, Warner Bros. and Lionsgate. In addition, Chris oversaw Kabam’s M&A activity, as well as its 3rd party publishing business, which was sold to Chinese publisher Gaea Mobile. Prior to Kabam, Chris was the GM of Digital Ventures for GameStop, helping take them from a brick-and-mortar business to a global, multi-channel digital company. During his tenure at GameStop, digital revenues for the company increased by $500 million.
