The Business Development Coordinator serves as a critical member of the revenue team, functioning as an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) focused on generating qualified leads and developing early-stage relationships that fuel business growth. This role bridges Sales and Marketing, driving outbound and inbound engagement to identify and convert prospects into high-value clients. Your ability to research, communicate effectively, and manage a sales pipeline will directly impact our success in the competitive digital advertising space.
Essential Functions:
- Partner closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to execute targeted lead generation strategies that convert early interest into qualified sales opportunities.
- Drive proactive outreach efforts through cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn engagement to initiate meaningful conversations with potential clients.
- Conduct detailed research to identify key decision-makers, build prospect lists, and prioritize outreach based on strategic targeting.
- Act as the first point of contact for inbound inquiries and outreach responses, qualifying leads and clearly communicating Playwire's value proposition.
- Manage lead nurturing by following up consistently, sharing relevant content, and moving prospects through the sales funnel with professionalism and urgency.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all lead interactions, opportunities, and communications within the CRM system.
- Collaborate with Sales leadership to optimize messaging, improve outreach tactics, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of Playwire's go-to-market strategy.
- Confidently articulate Playwire’s products and services, uncover client needs, and position our solutions to meet those needs effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of professional experience in a business development, inside sales, or lead generation role; ad tech industry exposure a strong plus.
- Energetic and self-motivated personality with a passion for digital media and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive emails and speak confidently with prospects.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Professional phone and email etiquette with a customer-first mindset.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is preferred.
- Flexible and adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
- Experience in the ad tech industry preferred
