Full Job Description
Playwire is looking for a passionate and technically savvy In-App Solutions Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll serve as the primary technical partner for new app publishers, guiding them through every stage of integrating and launching the Playwire SDK.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring a seamless onboarding experience, resolving technical challenges, and providing expert support to help publishers unlock the full potential of our advanced ad tech platform. By combining your technical expertise with strong problem-solving skills, you’ll play a key role in helping partners maximize ad revenue and achieve long-term success with Playwire.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with New Publishers: Serve as the technical expert for new app publishers, from initial contact through to successful integration and go-live.
- Provide Technical Guidance: Guide developers through the integration of the Playwire SDK, which includes dependencies for header bidding, mediation partners, and a Consent Management Platform (CMP).
- Troubleshoot and Debug: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to SDK implementation, ad serving, and revenue optimization.
- Educate and Train: Create and maintain technical documentation, and provide training and support to our publishing partners on best practices for ad monetization.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with the Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to provide client feedback, inform the product roadmap, and ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Optimize Performance: Analyze ad performance data and work with publishers to optimize their ad placements and strategy to maximize revenue.
- Stay Up-to-Date: Keep up with the latest trends and technologies in the mobile app and ad tech industries.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in a solutions engineering, sales engineering, or similar client-facing technical role.
- Strong understanding of mobile app development ecosystems (iOS, Android, and/or Unity).
- Experience with SDK integration and mobile ad monetization technologies (e.g., header bidding, mediation, ad networks).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with at least one programming language commonly used in mobile development (e.g., Swift, Kotlin, Java, C#).
- Familiarity with ad tech concepts such as CPM, fill rate, and ad waterfalls is a plus.
