Playwire is a full-service digital innovation partner that leverages online advertising and proprietary technologies to build publishing brands in the gaming and entertainment verticals.  To keep pace with our explosive growth, Playwire seeks a Business Development Manager. This role is instrumental in cultivating client relationships and fostering engagement to secure project opportunities.

Essential Functions:

  • Identifies and generates new business; develops and delivers sales presentations
  • Maintains and develops client relations for new and larger established existing customers, assuring all existing customer are contacted regularly to ensure customer satisfaction and develop need-based marketing relations
  • Develops customer relations including but not limited to researching, cold calling, qualifying leads, developing leads, and providing excellent customer service
  • Seeks and creates opportunities to expand business with current clients by identifying further business needs and developing and presenting solutions
  • Develops an effective sales presentation that is continually tested and used in the field
  • Develops and implements a plan for closing business and maintaining long-term customer relationships
  • Analyzes partner’s data to forecast revenue
  • Reviews revenue numbers to ensure company can meet its metrics
  • Continually reviews site analytics to ensure accuracy in numbers
  • Works with legal teams regarding contracts
  • Determines direction for Client Relations Team to set up site, once deal is finalized
  • Remains apprised of industry best practices and trends in order to make sound decisions
  • Attends conventions, conferences, and trade shows as needed and prepares post-event reports and analysis
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management


  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent
  • 2+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Google Analytics, DFP, Java Script, Power Point
  • A dynamic personality with a high energy level
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Works effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to meet quotas
